CTech Motorsport entered a solo Ginetta into the TORA Spec Cup series last Wednesday. The CTech Motorsport entry into the series was a very last minute decision which gave no time for testing. CTech Motorsport’s driver, Nutter, decided he would like to try his hand in the series hosted by TORA on ProjectCARS and after a brief discussion with team owner AnonCaliga, both then decided that the team should indeed have representation in the Spec Cup Ginetta series. Nutter, drove the solo Ginetta entry for the team at Oulton Park last Wednesday evening which seen both races declared as wet. In one of the races of the evening Nutter suffered slight frontal damage to his Ginetta and then later a mix up during a scheduled pit stop which seen the pit crew mistakenly fit his Ginetta with slick tyres instead of wet tyres cost Nutter valuable positions and time once he did re-join the track.
Round two of the TORA Spec Cup series gets the green light this evening (Wednesday 20th) with Silverstone being the backdrop for race one and two. Race one will use the Silverstone International layout for twenty-one laps and race two will use the GP layout for fifteen laps. Nutter, racing under the CTech Motorsport banner as a privateer heads to Silverstone fourth overall in the privateer standings with 233 points. Comments are closed.
